The Murray River dominates the state carving its lazy way past steep cliffs, stately river gums, orchards and vineyards.

  Murraylands & Riverland

The scenery changes at every bend with birds of bewildering varieties flying in from as far away as the Gulf of Carpentaria. The river’s moods are constantly changing, from the silence of an early morning mist to the spectacular fireworks of a bush sunset; the river offers an escape into a special world of peace and tranquillity.
